Fibonacci and US History
The sequence: 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233....
The significance when applied to time is that major events / changes are likely to occur at or around (+/- 1 or 2) these numbers.
1776 - US Declaration of Independence
55 years later in 1831 Nat Turner's Slave Rebellion
89 years later in 1865 Licoln assassinated, Slavery abolished
144 years later in 1920 Prohibition effected giving rise to the Maffia... also, economic expansion ending in a crash
233 years later in 2009 The firs black president is inaugurated, economic chaos, housing and financial melt-down...
On a personal note: I happened to shoot this image in 1975; 34 years before 2009.
